WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville resident was processed into the county detention center on Thursday, September 10, following an assault complaint.
Linwood Kenneth Bowen, 76, of 110 Huson Drive, Whiteville, was arrested by deputies at 11:38 a.m..
Bowen was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female. He was placed under a $5,000 unsecured bond and released from custody on September 11.
