WHITEVILLE, NC — A Mecklenburg County driver spent part of Wednesday night in the county jail following a traffic stop by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Mitchell Mullmann, 29, of Matthews, was arrested around 10:25 p.m. on Sept. 23. State troopers charged Mullmann with driving while impaired, speeding, reckless driving to endanger, open container of alcohol after consuming, and driving with an expired operator’s license.
Mullmann was processed into the Columbus County Detention Center and released after posting a $2,500 unsecured bond.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
