Born on April 26, 1952, in Somerville, New Jersey and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Berg. Patricia lived in Supply, North Carolina. Patty loved cats and enjoyed working in her yard and planting flowers. She was a member of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Shallotte but most recently was attending Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bolivia. Prior to moving to North Carolina She was a Teacher’s Assistant for special needs children that she took great pride and joy in and after moving to North Carolina she worked for Comprehensive Home Health Care and Liberty Home Health Care. She was preceded in death by her siblings, George Berg and Jacqueline Omoletski.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth Jackson of the home; her daughter, Christine Pickard and husband David of Ocean Isle Beach; her grandson that she dearly loved, Jackson Pickard and wife Ashlen of Conway, South Carolina and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday September 28, 2026 at two o’clock in the afternoon at White Funeral and Cremation Service Lou Ellen White memorial Chapel with Reverend Anthony Clemmons officiating.
Entombment will follow in Brunswick Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will be David Pickard, Jackson Pickard, Bill Carter, Aaron Norton, Alan Williams and Chris Clark.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be directed to SECU Hospice House of Brunswick, 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, NC 28422 or a charity of one’s choice.
