MYRTLE BEACH, SC — 45‑year‑old man has been arrested following an incident reported late Sunday morning involving an alleged assault and kidnapping.
According to police records, Ryan Elliott Talkington was taken into custody on September 28 at approximately 11:04 a.m. Talkington is charged with Assault and Battery, 2nd Degree, a felony under South Carolina law, along with a felony count of Kidnapping.
The arrest occurred in the 1100 block of North Oak Street, where officers responded and initiated the case at the same time the arrest was logged. No additional details regarding the circumstances of the alleged assault or kidnapping were immediately released.
