WHITEVILLE, NC — A 56-year-old man was taken into custody early Sunday morning in connection with an ongoing property crime investigation.
Conrad Demetrius Powell, of Knights Cove Apartments in Whiteville, was arrested by Columbus County deputies at 4:37 a.m. on Sept. 27. Powell faces two misdemeanor counts of larceny, one count of possession of stolen goods, and one count of receiving stolen goods.
He was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center and held under no bond.
