FDA RECALL: Salata Dressings, LLC has issued a Class I recall for its Jalapeño Avocado Dressing due to potential Salmonella contamination traced to an ingredient supplier providing contaminated diced jalapeños.
The recall covers 12.5‑fluid‑ounce bottles and 1‑gallon foodservice jugs distributed in Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas.
The affected bottles carry best‑by dates of November 5, 13, 18, and 25, 2026. The affected jugs carry best‑by dates ranging from October 6 through October 26, 2026.
Consumers are advised not to use the dressing and to discard it or return it to the point of purchase. Salmonella infection can cause fever, abdominal cramps, and diarrhea.
No illnesses have been reported at this time. The FDA continues monitoring the recall.
