MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Two men were charged in connection with an alcohol-related vehicle offense during an early morning incident on North Oak Street in Myrtle Beach on October 4.
According to citations and arrest information, Jakob Odell Jenkins, 27, and Collen Walker Hiller, 30, were both charged with open container of beer or wine in a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor offense. The incident occurred around 2:38 a.m. in the 1100 block of North Oak Street.
Jenkins was also cited on a misdemeanor charge of operating or permitting the operation of a vehicle that was not registered or licensed, according to the report.
Records indicate both men were arrested and cited in connection with the open container violation during the same investigation. Hiller’s arrest was reported at approximately 2:34 a.m., while citations for both individuals and the additional traffic charge against Jenkins were documented at 2:38 a.m.
