James “Richard” Strawn, 51, was last seen leaving a Columbia hospital Monday night and may be traveling toward the Charlotte area.
Columbia, SC — Strawn was last physically seen leaving a hospital in Columbia, South Carolina on October 5, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m. Investigators believe he is traveling alone and may be headed toward the Charlotte, NC area.
Strawn is described as: 5 feet, 10″ tall, 250 to 260 pounds with short salt-and-pepper hair, blue eyes
Authorities said Strawn was driving a silver/gray 2023 Chevrolet Silverado displaying North Carolina license plate TF4443. The truck reportedly has stickers along the bottom of the tailgate.
The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who sees Strawn or his vehicle, or who may have information regarding his whereabouts, to contact the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
