Ashley Edwards, 39, of 120 Mack Edwards Lane, Cerro Gordo, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 7:16 p.m. and charged with resisting a public officer (no bond) and failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge ($5,000 secured bond).
Jaquomie Samuel, 26, of NCDAC, Whiteville, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 8:34 a.m. and charged with simple affray under Durham County jurisdiction. Placed under a $500 unsecured bond and released the same day.
Holly Renee Speight, 42, of 5024 Goose Neck Road NE, Riegelwood, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 12:38 p.m. on five counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor charges. Placed under a $5,000 secured bond and released the same day.
Alyssa Dawn Weyandt, 31, of 352 Calvary Road, Clarkton, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 11:24 p.m. and charged with failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. Held under a $2,500 secured bond.

Cortez Mikell Smith, 31, of 118 South Wilkes Street, Chadbourn, NC. Processed by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 9:31 a.m. on a court writ.
