Assault on Government Officials (Prison Camp Rd, Whiteville) – Corporal Christopher Cotton responded to an incident at the Columbus County Detention Center around 12:21 a.m. A 34-year-old male suspect allegedly assaulted officers Anthony Braddy and Evander Holland.

Secondary Prison Assault (Prison Camp Rd, Whiteville) – Corporal Christopher Cotton logged a separate assault report at Columbus Correctional Institution at 3:12 a.m. A 19-year-old male suspect was listed in connection with an assault on officer Roy Long.

Stolen Golf Cart (Clarendon Chadbourn Rd, Chadbourn) – Deputy Chandler Huggins investigated the theft of a burgundy EZGO golf cart valued at $2,500 at 1810 Clarendon Chadbourn Road around 7:49 a.m. Henery Stevens was listed as the victim.

Theft of Personal Property (Kenny Jordan Rd, Tabor City) – Corporal Patrick Sawhill responded to 1011 Kenny Jordan Road at 8:05 a.m. Victim Cheryl Jean Blackman, 68, reported two firearms, 15 pieces of jewelry, and personal/business documents stolen. Total reported property value was $250. A 69-year-old male was listed as a suspect.

Domestic Dispute (Sarahs Ave, Nakina) – Deputy Daniel Miesieski responded to a domestic disturbance call at 74 Sarahs Avenue at 8:01 a.m. Crystal Rutter, 38, was listed as the victim.

Simple Assault (E. Andrew Jackson Hwy, Bolton) – Deputy James Lennon was dispatched to 22405 E. Andrew Jackson Highway at 9:56 a.m. following a simple assault report. Victim Sarah Gale Bordeaux, 38, reported being assaulted by physical force. A 53-year-old male was listed as a suspect.

Warrant Service (Washington St, Whiteville) – Lieutenant Darrell Rogers executed a warrant service at the Law Enforcement Center at 803 Washington Street around 12:20 p.m.

Warrant Service & Resisting Arrest (Cherry Grove Rd, Cerro Gordo) – Deputy Cail L. Brown responded to 1918 Cherry Grove Road at 4:52 p.m. A 39-year-old female was served with an outstanding warrant and charged with resisting a public officer.

Warrant Service (Mount Calvary Rd, Clarkton) – Deputy Xavier Williams executed a warrant service at 352 Mount Calvary Road at 8:35 p.m. A 31-year-old female suspect was listed in connection with the arrest.
