RIEGELWOOD WOMAN BOOKED ON OUTSTANDING COURT VIOLATIONS

WHITEVILLE, NC — A Riegelwood woman was processed into the county jail Monday afternoon after being taken into custody on multiple outstanding orders for arrest.

Holly Renee Speight, 42, of 5024 Goose Neck Road Northeast in Riegelwood, was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center by sheriff’s deputies at 12:38 p.m. on Oct. 5.

Speight was served with five counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor charges in Columbus County Court. She was placed under a combined $5,000 secured bond and was subsequently released later that afternoon after posting bail.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
