Driver Evades Law Enforcement; Motorist Taken into Custody

Supply, NC — David Clemmons, 46, of Supply, was arrested on September 29 by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies reported that Clemmons attempted to flee and elude arrest using a motor vehicle. Following the pursuit, law enforcement officers recovered a firearm and illegal narcotics.

Clemmons was booked into the county jail on charges of felony flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a Schedule II controlled substance.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
