Financial Card Theft and Fraud Investigation Leads to Arrest in Shallotte

SHALLOTTE, NC — An ongoing credit card fraud investigation in Shallotte resulted in felony charges against a local resident.

Brandon Dewayne Wallace, 34, of Shallotte, was taken into custody on October 1 by the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators linked Wallace to the unlawful theft and unauthorized use of financial transaction cards.

Wallace was charged with felony financial card theft and booked into the Brunswick County Detention Center.
