WHITEVILLE — A violation of sex offender registry regulations was documented at the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday morning.
Detective Joni M. Bland filed an official incident report at the department headquarters on Washington Street at 11:25 AM on October 6. A 58-year-old male suspect was listed in connection with failing to register or return required verification forms.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
