Myrtle Beach Man Arrested Following Alleged Hit-and-Run Crash With Minor Injuries

MYRTLE BEACH, SC — 47-year-old Myrtle Beach man was arrested Thursday following a reported hit-and-run collision involving minor personal injuries near the intersection of 17th Avenue South and Kings Highway.

According to arrest records, Larry Fleming, 47, was arrested at approximately 11:04 a.m. October 8 in the 500 block of 17th Avenue South near Kings Highway. He was charged with:

  • Hit and run involving an accident with minor personal injury (misdemeanor)
  • Driving under suspension, license not suspended for DUI, first offense (misdemeanor)
  • Failure to yield right-of-way on a left turn (misdemeanor)
  • Failure to change address (misdemeanor)
  • Disregarding a stop sign (misdemeanor)

Records also show that Fleming received citations related to driving under suspension, failure to yield right-of-way on a left turn, failure to change address, and disregarding a stop sign. The incident was reported under case number 26021054.

In a related case, Annie Evon McKnight, 42, was arrested and cited on a charge of permitting an unauthorized person to drive. Authorities listed the same location and time in connection with that charge.
