Myrtle Beach Man Arrested on Marijuana, Public Intoxication, and Littering Charges

Multiple misdemeanor charges stem from early morning incident along North Ocean Boulevard

MYRTLE BEACH, SC — 50-year-old man was arrested early Thursday morning in Myrtle Beach on multiple misdemeanor charges, including marijuana possession, public intoxication, littering, and a city ordinance violation.

According to arrest records, Scott Emerson Reynolds, 50, was arrested at approximately 1:52 a.m. on Oct. 8 in the 600 block of North Ocean Boulevard.

Authorities charged Reynolds with:

  • Possession of 28 grams (1 ounce) or less of marijuana, first offense (misdemeanor)
  • Public intoxication (misdemeanor)
  • Violation of a city ordinance concerning destructive uses of landscapes and public nuisances (misdemeanor)
  • Littering involving 15 pounds or less of litter (misdemeanor)

Records indicate Reynolds also received citations for each of the offenses. The citations were issued at 608 North Ocean Boulevard and are associated with case number 26021045.
