WHITEVILLE, NC — Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a Whiteville resident reported his vehicle was taken without permission over the weekend.
Deputy Daniel Miesieski took the report around 8:47 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 227 Bitmore Road. The victim, 38-year-old Justin Lane Crawford, reported an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The case remains open.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
