SOUTHPORT, NC — The City of Southport has announced temporary daily closures along E. Moore Street beginning Monday, October 19, to allow crews to remove existing overhead power infrastructure and install new overhead lighting.
The south-side parking area and adjacent sidewalk on E. Moore Street will be closed each day from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The closures are expected to continue daily until the project is completed.
Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to plan ahead, use caution when traveling through the area, and follow any posted signage or directions from work crews.
