Elnora Tyree 91, of Chadbourn, passed on October 17, 2026 in Columbus County. She was born on October 5, 1935 in Evergreen to the late Melvin Elmore and Rhoda Mae Inman Elmore.
She is survived by sons, Gary Tyree and wife Terrie of Chadbourn, N.C., Ricky Tyree and wife Judy of Lake Waccamaw, N.C., James Tyree of Chadbourn, N.C.; daughter, Teresa T. Bridgers of Whiteville, N.C.; grandchildren, Garet A. Tyree, Amanda M. Gharam, Amy N. Tyree, Kevin R. Tyree, Stacy D. Benson, Ricky Tyree, Kristen Wall; great grandchildren, Nicolette M. Blythe, Charlie A. Tyner, Carina E. Garcia, Yasmin L. Gharam, Yazan R. Gharam, Katelyn Tyree, Alyssa Benson, Morgan Benson, Hunter Benson; great great grandchildren, Tenleigh Wall, Audrey Tyree, Malcolm Benson, Ryker Petit.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Peacock’s Columbus Memorial Park with Rev. Roger Coffey officiating.
Visitation will be held between 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Peacock Funeral Home.
