LAKE WACCAMAW, NC — A Lake Waccamaw resident was arrested Tuesday morning following an investigation into a hit-and-run collision.
Cpl. Stone A. Lee with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident logged at 7:57 a.m. at 4206 Pocosin Road. Following the investigation, deputies arrested Carol Freeman Redwine, 55, of the same address, at 9:15 a.m..
Redwine was charged with misdemeanor Hit and Run Failure to Stop for Property Damage. She was booked into the Columbus County Detention Center and subsequently released on a $1,000 unsecured bond.
