Boiling Spring Lakes, NC — The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department investigated a shooting Thursday evening at BSL Storage Solutions in the 3500 block of George II Highway.
Officers responded at approximately 7:30 p.m. after receiving reports of a disturbance at the business. When units arrived, they located one individual who had sustained a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported for medical treatment and was listed in critical condition.
Police said a suspect was detained in connection with the incident. According to the department, the shooting is believed to be an isolated event, and there was no ongoing threat to the community.
The investigation remains active, and no additional details have been released.
