RECALL: The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a nationwide recall for Ricky Joy Sour Crush rolling liquid candy bottles after determining that the product’s rollerball applicator can detach during use, creating a choking hazard for children.
Each bottle contains 1.85 fluid ounces of sour liquid candy and was sold in blue (blue raspberry), red (strawberry), green (green apple), and pink (watermelon).
The candy is intended to be applied through a rollerball top, the rolling ball can come loose, becoming a small hard object capable of obstructing a child’s airway.
The recalled products were sold online, including through Walmart and at various retailers nationwide between 2023 and 2026.
Consumers are advised to stop using the candy bottles immediately.
