Boiling Spring Lakes, NC — The Boiling Spring Lakes Police Department arrested a 31‑year‑old local man following a shooting incident that occurred Saturday night.
According to the department, officers took Bryan Cash Caroon of Boiling Spring Lakes into custody and charged him with Felony Assault with a Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill or Inflict Serious Injury.
Caroon was transported to the Brunswick County Detention Center, where he is being held with no bond.
Police said multiple agencies assisted during the investigation, including the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation, Southport Police Department, and the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
