Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Charge, Fugitive Warrant, and Multiple Citations in Myrtle Beach

PAUGH, MARSHALL JERRELL (MBPD)

MYRTLE BEACH, SC — A late‑night traffic stop near 3rd Avenue South and Ocean Boulevard resulted in the arrest of a 38‑year‑old man on a drug offense, a fugitive warrant, and several traffic‑related charges, according to Myrtle Beach Police.

Officers reported that Marshall Jerrell Paugh, Black male, age 38, was taken into custody at 12:51 a.m. on Sept. 18, 2026 in the 200 block of 3rd Avenue South/S. Ocean Boulevard.

Police listed the following misdemeanor charges connected to the arrest:

  • Possession of 28g or Less of Marijuana — first offense
  • Fugitive From Justice Warrant — non‑criminal hold
  • Driving Without a License — first offense
  • Operating a Vehicle With Missing or Incorrectly Displayed Information
  • Driving on the Wrong Side of the Road / Improper or Unsafe Lane Use

At a nearby location — 250 3rd Avenue South/S. Ocean Boulevard — officers issued additional citations at the same time

Driving Without a License — 1st Offense (56‑01‑0020)

Operating Vehicle With Missing or Incorrectly Displayed Information (56‑03‑1240)

Possession of 28g or Less of Marijuana — 1st Offense (44‑53‑0370(D)(5)1ST)
