Kenny Delwood Cox age 70, died Sunday, September 27, 2026 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville.
Born in Horry County, SC., he was the son of the late Thomas Cox and Laura Heath Grantham.
He is survived by two daughters, Tanya Martinez (Alfredo) of Clarendon, NC., Sarah Nunez (Eldher) of Clarendon, NC., two sisters, Kathy Powell (Frankie) of Tabor City, NC., Melissa Ransom (Charles) of Bladenboro, NC. Two brothers, Monroe “Dee” Grantham (Princess) of Tabor City, NC., Rodney Cox (Annie) of Burlington, NC.
Grandchildren, Nathan Martinez (Kenzie Long) Jazmin Martinez, Samantha Miller (Dylan),
Cristian Nunez, Mikayla Nunez, Nickolas Nunez, three great grandchildren, Oliver Martinez, Archie Martinez, Mason Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Gaye Grantham.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 1, 2026 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm in Inman Ward Funeral Home.
