DARLINGTON, SC — Local families will have the opportunity to explore giant vehicles and collect early Halloween goodies as the Junior League of Florence hosts its annual Trucks ‘N Treats event on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Darlington Raceway.
The family-friendly event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the historic racing venue, located at 1301 Harry Byrd Highway in Darlington. Admission is $5.00 per person, while children ages 2 and under enter for free.
Designed to offer a hands-on experience, Trucks ‘N Treats invites children of all ages to climb aboard, explore, and learn about a wide variety of large service vehicles, construction trucks, and specialty equipment, accompanied by their operators.
To ensure an inclusive environment for all community members, the event features a dedicated Horn-Free Hour from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. During this quiet window, vehicle operators refrain from sounding horns, sirens, or loud music, providing a comfortable setting for individuals with sensory sensitivities.
In addition to interactive vehicle displays, attendees can enjoy trick-or-treat stations throughout the venue, craft activities, and local food vendor offerings. Costumes are encouraged for all attendees.
On-site parking will be available via the main race track entrances with access directed toward the infield facility area. All proceeds from the event support community programs and community grants sponsored by the Junior League of Florence.
