WHITEVILLE, NC — Columbus County deputies executed an arrest on Friday, October 16, charging a 27-year-old local woman with severe child endangerment offenses.
Kristen Michelle Bordeaux, of 58 King Arthur Drive, Whiteville, was taken into custody by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office.
Bordeaux is charged with felony exposure of a child to a controlled substance and felony negligent child abuse resulting in severe physical injury. She was processed into the Columbus County Detention Center and is being held without bond pending trial.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
