WHITEVILLE, NC — A 57-year-old Whiteville man was arrested early Thursday morning following a traffic stop by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Larry Scott Duncan, of 255 Hudson Drive, was stopped at 2:24 AM on October 15.
Duncan was charged with driving while impaired (DWI), two counts of open container after consuming alcohol, and reckless driving with wanton disregard. He was processed into the Columbus County detention center under a $5,000 unsecured bond.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
