FAIR BLUFF — A Fair Bluff man was hospitalized early Monday after a stabbing that resulted in an attempted murder charge, according to Sgt. John Reaves.
Deputies responded at 12:12 a.m. to 537 Goodman Street, where Kenneth Allen Harley Jr., 34, was found with injuries caused by a knife or cutting instrument.
The suspect, listed as a 44‑year‑old Black male in the incident report, was identified in detention records as Chris Faulk, 589 Elm St., Fair Bluff.
Faulk was charged with:
- Assault With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill Inflicting Serious Injury
- Attempted Murder (incident classification)
- No Bond
He remains held on felony charges.
All individuals listed are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
