Horry County, SC — Horry County Government is advising residents that several polling places for the Special Republican Primary for the US Senate Runoff on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, will be located inside local schools while classes are in session.
Officials say voters assigned to those locations should anticipate limited parking and increased congestion throughout the day.
To help reduce delays, the county is encouraging voters assigned to school-based polling sites to take advantage of early voting from Wednesday, August 19 through Friday, August 21. Early voting hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the following locations:
• Voter Registration & Elections, 1515 Fourth Avenue, Conway • South Strand Recreation Center, 9650 Scipio Lane, Myrtle Beach • North Strand Recreation Center, 120 Highway 57 South, Little River
Voters who plan to cast their ballot on Tuesday, August 25 at a school site are urged to review the specific procedures for their assigned polling place using the link provided by the county.
On Election Day, officials remind voters to follow posted signage and have a valid photo ID ready.
Residents unsure of their polling location can look it up through the South Carolina Voter Registration system
