John Thomas Burke, Jr., age 76, passed away August 16, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his loving wife and daughter
John was born February 2, 1950 in Washington, DC., a son of John Thomas Buke, Sr. and Rose Teresa Burke. John never met a stranger, he was a loving husband, father, pop pop, and SANTA. John was a very considerate man who was loved by all who knew him. John was very proud of his Irish Heritage and loved his many visit with family over in Ireland.
Surviving is his loving wife: Karen Sue Burke; his children: Jeffrey Burke, John Burke (April), and Kelly Locke (Aaron); four grandchildren: TJ, Kylie, Gavin, and Ryker; siblings: Daniel Burke, Martina O’Neil, and Susan Bowling, and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Myrtle Beach Funeral Home,is assisting the Burke family with arrangements.
