LAKE WACCAMAW, NC — Renowned trumpet artist Dr. Buddy Deshler is returning to Lake Waccamaw for a special benefit concert supporting Boys & Girls Homes of North Carolina.
The performance, featuring collaborating pianist Kristy Mezines, is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21, at 6:30 p.m. at the historic Boys & Girls Homes Chapel in Lake Waccamaw.
Celebrating 25 Years of the BGHNC Chapel

Dr. Deshler, a member of the music faculty at Furman University and leader of the Furman Trumpet Studio, will present a diverse program showcasing a mix of classical and contemporary brass selections.
The evening performance also marks the kickoff of celebrations honoring the 25th anniversary of the BGHNC Chapel.
