Little River, SC — Labor Day weekend fireworks display is planned for Sunday, September 6 at 8:30 p.m. along the Little River waterfront, giving families a chance to enjoy an evening on one of Horry County’s most historic coastal stretches. The waterfront is a compact, walkable district built around Little River’s fishing heritage, with restaurants, charter boats, and working docks positioned directly on the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW).

Visitors are encouraged to bring chairs, family snacks, and bug spray, as seating is not provided and the event takes place outdoors along the water. The waterfront is a marina‑style setting rather than a beach, and many guests visit for seafood, sunset views, and access to dolphin tours and fishing charters. During major events, the festival grounds accommodate spectators, vendors, and viewing areas along the water. Parking is limited during peak times, and early arrival is recommended.

For those who have never been, the Little River Waterfront sits directly on the Intracoastal Waterway in Little River, South Carolina, just off U.S. Highway 17. Mineola Avenue is the main turn‑off leading straight to the waterfront’s restaurants, docks, and event grounds, while Waterfront Drive runs along the water and connects the viewing areas and charter boat docks. GPS searches for “Little River Waterfront” or “Mineola Avenue, Little River, SC” will guide visitors to the correct location.
