Traffic Stop Yields Cocaine Seizure on Honey Field Road

WHITEVILLE — A routine warrant service led to drug charges for a Whiteville woman on Aug. 29. Deputy Cail L. Brown located Crystal Lynn Williams, 43, on Honey Field Road to execute an outstanding larceny warrant. Upon contacting Williams, officers located glass pipes, small plastic zip bags containing cocaine powder residue, and a purse. Williams was transported to the detention center and placed under a $10,000 total bond for felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and failure to appear.

All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
