WHITEVILLE NC — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Steven Lee Barden, 55, late Friday night on two firearm‑related charges.
Barden was booked at 11:32 p.m. on September 4, 2026 under Booking ID 13806. According to the sheriff’s office, he is charged with Possession of Firearm by Felon and Carrying a Concealed Gun.
Bond for Barden was set at $50,000 on the felony firearm charge and $1,000 on the concealed weapon charge.
