CHADBOURN, N.C. — A Chadbourn driver is facing multiple traffic and criminal charges following a traffic stop by Columbus County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday evening.
Tracy Stevens Levner, 55, of Clarendon Chadbourn Road, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 8, at 6:02 p.m. Deputies charged Stevens with driving while impaired (DWI), misdemeanor reckless driving with wanton disregard, and driving while license revoked.
Additionally, Stevens was cited for failing to yield at a stop sign or flashing red light and failure to wear a front seat belt. Stevens was held at the county jail under no bond.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
