Frank (Coach) Anthony Ciamillo, age 86, of Whiteville, NC passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Columbus Regional Healthcare.
Frank was born on July 25, 1940, in Inwood, NY to the late Anthony Frank Ciamillo and Martha Hirshka Ciamillo, In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother; John Ciamillo and sister; Mary Ciamillo.
Coach Ciamillo graduated with a Bachelor Degree from Elon University and then graduated from the University of Virginia with a Master’s Degree. He coached at Whiteville High School, Havelock High School, Hayesville High School, Loris High School and South Columbus High School.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years; Nancy Rogers Ciamillo of the home, son; Anthony Frank “Tony” Ciamillo (Melissa) of Clayton, NC, daughter; Catherine Tina Ciamillo Little of Whiteville, NC, grandchildren; Frank Ciamillo, Ryan Ciamillo (Amber), Nick Ciamillo, Vann Ciamillo (Elizabeth), Molly Ciamillo (Justin), Payten Elizabeth Little, William Caden Little, and Christopher Logen Little, great grandchildren; Piper Elizabeth Ciamillo, and Sophia Louise Ciamillo, brothers; Anthony Ciamillo (Sharon) of Swansboro, NC, Andrew Ciamillo of Las Vegas, NV, and Jimmy Ciamillo of Ft. Myers, FL, sister; Marcy Ciamillo (Jeff) of Ft. Myers, FL,
The family will receive friends at McKenzie Mortuary on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. A private funeral service will be held afterward
