Tyler was born on October 23rd, 1993 in Waterbury, Connecticut.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Bao; mother, Theresa DiNicola Petti; father, Miguel Bao; step-father, Christopher Petti; four siblings, Emily Bao, Caitlyn Bao, Scarlett Petti and Austin Petti; grandmothers, Holly Salvietti and Engracia Bao; grandfather, Jaime Bao; mother-in-law, Angela Langeway; father-in-law, Lawrence Langeway; sister-in-law, Julia Langeway; nephew, Melo Martorelli; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will deeply miss him. Tyler was also preceded in death by his grandfather, Arthur Salvietti.
Tyler made his home in Bolivia, North Carolina, with his wife Marie and their fur babies Eevee and Eli, whom he adored. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from Post University and was currently enrolled in a Masters program at East Carolina University for Software Engineering, where he was to be inducted into the National Honor Society for a 4.0 GPA. He worked as a Software Developer for LL Global, Inc, based out of Connecticut. Tyler was an avid sports fan and particularly loved the New York Giants and Boston Celtics. In his free time, he also enjoyed cooking, gaming, fishing, exploring new coffee shops and traveling.
A private celebration of his life will be held in Connecticut with close family and friends on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 at the Portuguese Sport Club in Waterbury, Connecticut, from 11am – 4pm at 1966 Baldwin Street. The family asks that you wear your favorite sports team apparel, band/music apparel or your favorite colors.
