Carolina Forest, SC — The Horry County Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Treshawn Telley McCray, 20, who was reported missing late Tuesday night from his residence.
According to investigators, McCray was last seen at home at approximately 8:30 p.m. His father discovered him missing around 10:00 p.m., shortly after McCray sent messages to a family group chat that raised concerns about his mental health and prompted immediate worry among relatives.
A cell‑phone location ping obtained Wednesday morning placed McCray near the Publix on Oakheart Road in the Carolina Forest area. Officers searched the vicinity but were unable to locate him.
McCray is described as a Black male, approximately 5’11”, about 175 pounds, and was last known to be wearing shorts and a black, tight‑fitting athletic‑style T‑shirt. He may also be wearing a black beanie.

Due to the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and concerns for his well‑being, any information that may assist investigators is important.
