WHITEVILLE, NC — An early morning traffic stop resulted in driving while impaired charges for a local resident on Friday, Sept. 25.
Michael Alonzo Mcarthur, 43, of Whiteville, was arrested and booked into the Columbus County Detention Center at 1:52 a.m. Mcarthur was charged with driving while impaired (DWI), driving while license revoked (not impaired), and driving left of center.
He was processed and held under no bond.
