Brunswick County, NC — Brunswick County Schools is continuing its fall series of Bond Community Conversations, offering residents additional opportunities to learn about the 2026 school bond referendum and the district’s long‑range facility plans. The district began the series on September 16 and is now moving into the next round of in‑person and virtual meetings across Brunswick County. All sessions are open to the community, including residents without students enrolled in the school system.

Upcoming dates include:

  • West Brunswick High School – Wednesday, September 30
    550 Whiteville Road NW, Shallotte
  • South Brunswick High School – Tuesday, October 6
    280 Cougar Drive, Southport
  • Online Bond Presentation – Tuesday, October 13
    YouTube Live, 6:00 p.m.
  • North Brunswick High School – Wednesday, October 14
    114 Scorpion Drive, Leland

District officials say the bond proposal is driven by higher enrollment growth, the aging facilities, and the demand for additional school buildings and campus expansions in fast‑growing areas of Brunswick County. Each session includes a presentation and time for resident questions.
