Whiteville Teen Arrested on Felony Marijuana and Concealed Weapon Charges

WHITEVILLE, NC — An 18-year-old Whiteville resident was taken into custody late Monday night by city police on drug and weapon offenses.

Jamorion Pridgen, of West Burkhead Street, was arrested by officers with the Whiteville Police Department around 11:08 p.m. on Sept. 28. Pridgen was charged with felony possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana and misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun.

He was processed into the Columbus County Detention Center under a $10,000 secured bond.
