WHITEVILLE, NC — The following individuals were booked into the Columbus County Detention Center between Oct. 26 and Oct. 28, 2026, according to records released by local law enforcement agencies. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Monday, Oct. 26, 2026

• Daniel Lynn Davis, 39, of Bladenboro Road, Bladenboro, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 1:40 PM on charges of Parole Violation. Held under no bond.

• Jocephas Jones Jr., 53, of Old Wilmington Road, Whiteville, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 12:13 PM on charges of Driving While License Revoked (Not Impaired). Serving sentence.

• Rashawn Jermaine McCollum, 23, of W End Drive, Whiteville, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 9:55 PM on charges of Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor. Held under a $500 secured bond; released Oct. 27.

• Karrie Reene Mitchell, 34, of Rico Road, Clarkton, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 9:29 PM on charges of Possess With Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substance, Maintain Place for Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor Possess Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possess Drug Paraphernalia, and Carrying Concealed Gun. Held under a $5,000 secured bond; released Oct. 26.

• Michael Rice, 44, of Tremont Street, Roxbury, MA. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 11:26 AM on charges of Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor. Held under a $15,000 secured bond.

• Coy Ray Todd, 35, of WR Cribb Drive, Chadbourn, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 11:13 AM on charges of Felony Larceny and Obtain Property by False Pretense. Held under a $2,000 secured bond.

• James R. Ward, 46, of Slippery Log Road, Whiteville, NC. Arrested by the Whiteville Police Department at 6:34 PM on charges of Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle, Larceny of Motor Vehicle, and Misdemeanor Larceny. Held under a $25,000 secured bond.

• William Alex Lee Warren, 25, of Farmers Union Road, Clarkton, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 10:54 PM on charges of Carrying Concealed Gun, Misdemeanor Possess Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possess Drug Paraphernalia, and multiple counts of Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor. Held under a $3,000 total secured bond; released Oct. 27.

• Caleb Adams, 33, of Mitchell Mill Road, Whiteville, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 5:05 PM on charges of Parole Violation. Held under no bond.

• Aleshia Danielle Jones, 34, of Trinity Court, Chadbourn, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 2:24 AM on multiple counts of Failure to Appear on Misdemeanor. Held under a $3,000 secured bond; released Oct. 27.

• Latonya Demetris Jones, 51, of Cuttail Road, Whiteville, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 2:11 PM and 5:49 PM on extensive charges, including Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicle with Theft, Financial Card Theft, Financial Card Fraud, Identity Theft, and Obtain Property by False Pretense. Held under a $1,500 secured bond and additional no-bond holds.

• Stanley Edmund Noel, 40, of East Columbus Street, Whiteville, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 7:40 PM as a Weekender. Serving sentence.

• Lamar Orlando Strickland, 35, of Micheal’s Path Way, Clarkton, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 2:00 AM on charges of Possess Stolen Firearm, Carrying Concealed Gun, and Misdemeanor Possess Schedule VI Controlled Substance. Held under a $10,500 total secured bond; released Oct. 27.

• Hobert Eugene Waller III, 44, of Andrew Jackson Highway, Chadbourn, NC. Arrested by the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office at 2:26 PM on a Writ.

• Floyd Ray Watts, 53, of Pierce Cemetery Road, Hallsboro, NC. Arrested by the Whiteville Police Department at 11:42 PM on charges of Possess With Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Methamphetamine. Held under a $10,000 secured bond; released Oct. 28.
