Jane Charnley Wegner age 85, of Loris, SC., formerly of Marion, SC., died Thursday, August 27, 2026, in Loris Rehab & Nursing Center, Loris, SC.
Born in Charlotte, NC., she was the daughter of the late Loren Charnley Sr. and Mary Pate Charnley.
She is survived by two sons, Donald E. Wegner Jr. (Martha) of Belmont, NC., Walter S. Wegner (Linda) of Pinehurst, NC., three grandchildren, Richard Douglas (RD) of Laurinburg, NC., Sallie Wegner Kopf (Micah) of Columbia, SC., Clara Wegner and fiancé Joshua Watson of Mars Hill, NC., one great-grandson, Gabrial Watson, and great grand-daughter, Ava Bradshaw.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Edward Wegner Sr., one brother, Loren Charnley Jr.
A private celebration of Jane’s life will be held at a later date.
