WHITEVILLE, N.C. — A Whiteville man was booked into the county jail late Friday night after being arrested on felony firearm charges by Whiteville Police officers.
Steven Lee Barden, 55, of Church Lane, was taken into custody on Friday, Sept. 4, at 11:34 p.m. Officers charged Barden with felony possession of a firearm by a felon and misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun.
Barden was placed in the Columbus County Detention Center under a combined $51,000 secured bond as he awaits trial.
