HORRY COUNTY, SC — The Horry County Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Team has arrested James Joseph Novick, 43, of Little River, following an investigation into the distribution of child sexual abuse material.
Investigators say Novick was taken into custody on September 2, 2026, after detectives identified evidence connected to the distribution of child sexual abuse material. He is charged with four counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, 2nd Degree – Distribution.
Novick was transported to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center. No additional details have been released.
