Leland is the place to be for free community events at Founders Park – feature live musical performances, outdoor movie screenings, and an astronomical stargazing night.
LELAND, NC — The Town of Leland schedule for its “Live in Leland” series, bringing a fresh slate of free live music, family-friendly entertainment, and community activities to the amphitheater at Founders Park.
Located at 113 Town Hall Drive, the park has served as a central gathering space since the series’ launch, drawing residents and visitors from across the region for food trucks, a dedicated beer garden, and yard games.
The newly added fall lineup includes four upcoming dates:

Sept. 17 at 600 p.m. Michael Schott performing live at the Battle of the Bowls.

Sept. 19 at 7:40 p.m. Outdoor screening of Dirty Dancing, preceded by dance lessons with Tracie Rabalais starting at 7:00 p.m.

Oct. 1 at 6:00 p.m. Live performance by The British Invaders.

Oct. 17 at 7:00 p.m. Outdoor screening of Muppets in Space, followed by a public stargazing event hosted by the Cape Fear Astronomical Society.
Town officials remind attendees to prepare for outdoor conditions by bringing folding chairs, picnic blankets, sunscreen/bug spay, coolers, and drinking water. Stay up-to-date with the latest for the Town of Leland.
