WHITEVILLE, NC — A Whiteville resident was booked into the county jail early Tuesday morning on drug and firearm charges carrying a $60,000 bond.
James Adrain Logan, 61, of West Burkhead Street, was arrested by the Whiteville Police Department at 3:00 a.m. on Sept. 15. Officers executed charges including Possession of a Firearm by a Felon ($50,000 secured bond), Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver (PWISD) Marijuana ($10,000 secured bond), and Maintaining a Place for Controlled Substances.
Logan is currently confined in the Columbus County Detention Center awaiting trial.
All individuals named in this report are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Charges and case statuses may change as investigations and court proceedings continue.
