NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC — Music lovers are heading to the Horseshoe tonight, September 17 as the City of North Myrtle Beach hosts another installment of its popular Music on Main concert series, featuring the legendary beach music group Chairmen of the Board.
The free, family-friendly outdoor concert runs from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the iconic Horseshoe located at 11 S. Ocean Blvd. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and dancing shoes for an evening of classic beach music, rhythm and blues, and coastal fun.
Traffic and Parking Advisories
To ensure public safety and accommodate the large crowd expected for tonight’s performance, the City of North Myrtle Beach has announced the following temporary road and parking closures:

2:00 p.m. The Horseshoe parking lot closes to accommodate event setup. Note: Setting up chairs in the Horseshoe is not permitted prior to 3:00 PM.

4:30 p.m. Main Street closes to vehicle traffic from Ocean Boulevard to McMillan Real Estate.

5:00 p.m. Ocean Boulevard closes to traffic from 1st Avenue North to 1st Avenue South.

5:00 p.m. Designated golf cart parking becomes available along Main Street. Spaces are strictly limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Concertgoers are advised to arrive early to secure parking and find a comfortable spot near the stage, bring the family, chairs/blanket. Local restaurants and shops along Main Street will remain open throughout the evening.
