DOG RECLAIMED BY OWNER AFTER CREEK RESCUE

A reminder that many other adoptable pets at HCACC still need homes.

Horry County, SC — Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR) says they’ve received numerous messages  asking whether the dog rescued from a creek earlier this week is available for adoption. According to HCFR, the dog has since been reclaimed by its owner.

For everyone who expressed interest or had room to adopt this pup, HCFR encourages redirecting that same energy toward the many dogs currently waiting at the Horry County Animal Care Center (HCACC). The shelter remains full of adoptable pets who are ready for safe, loving homes.
